Nvidia shield tv wont download apps

Hi there Some Guy: There is an Optik TV app on the google play store but the Nvidia shield does not have full access to all the apps on the google play store. I was able to download the Optik TV app on my IPad and it works great but not able to get in on the Nvidia Shield. Any advice on how to get the Optik TV app on the Nvidia Shield.
